Engr Bashir Gegu pens condolence to Kogi APC Chairman, Abdullahi Bello over loss of mother, Hajiya Salamatu Bello
Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has condoled the State APC Chairman, Hon Abdullahi Bello over the death of his mother, Hajiya Salamatu Bello.
This was contained in a press statement he made available to our reporter in Lokoja on Tuesday following the announcement of the sad incident.
The commissioner noted that it was a painful experience to lose someone as important as a mother, even though he said, it is a necessary end for every mortal being.
“We as Muslims believe strongly that every soul must taste death because Allah says we came from Him and to Him we must all return.
“This is part of the reasons why it is very painful to lose someone as important as a mother because she is irreplaceable. For this reason, I want to use my office to commiserate with our party’s Chairman and pray Almighty Allah to grant him fortitude to bear this big loss.
“I also want to use this medium to solicit that the Almighty grant other members of the family the ability to bear the loss and understand that Allah knows why Mama had to be asked to go and rest at this material time.
“It is the fervent prayer of myself and my entire family and political associates that may Mama Hajiya Salamatu Bello rest in Jannatul Firdaus and may He grant the rest of those she left behind long life, prosperity and good health, especially our chairman, Hon Abdullahi Bello.
“Once again, my condolences.”
