Gov. Bello Hails Sultan of Sokoto at 64, Describes Him As A Peace Maker »

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has hailed His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar IV on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary describing him as a peace maker and a leader with integrity and honor.

The Governor made this known on Monday, 24th August in his birthday message to the Royal Father through his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed

Governor Bello noted that the Royal Father has remained a unifying figure who has continued to promote peace, unity and the progress of the Nation.

He mentioned that through his leadership there has been more harmonious co existence in the state and country, a position the Sultan has promoted as the President General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA)

The Governor also applauded the Sultan for being a humanitarian and always standing by the truth which he noted has dignified him as a true leader who is loved by his people.

Governor Bello added that the Islamic leading figure was a man of peace who has severally waded into issues which would have degenerated into crisis and have forestalled such outcome.

While wishing him more healthy and prosperous years ahead, the Governor encouraged the Sultan never to relent in his good doings and the Fear of God as such would continue to endear him to the heart of many.

The Governor similarly prayed for more wisdom and strength for the Sultan even as he clocks a new age further enabling him to rule with equity and fairness
