Hon. Abubakar meets with traditional rulers, ALGON in familiarization tour

…seeks support in youth empowerment drive.

Recently appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bello on Youth Empowerment, Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon. Ibikunle Abubakar on Wednesday met separately with the Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Olujumu of Ijumu Land, HRM Oba Ayeni Williams and also the Kogi State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Taufiq Isah.

The meeting was part of his continued efforts to familiarize with concerned stakeholders, discuss ideas, plans and seek royal blessings and as well as ask for continued support of the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

The Olujumu of Ijumu land, Oba Ayeni Williams in his remarks hailed the Governor for his youth inclusiveness in governance noting that such has encouraged more young persons to become creative, innovative and birth great ideas that would impact the people.

He also lauded the Governor’s youth aide planned initiative to focus on massive encouragement and involvement of youths in agricultural practices, and promised to be a support pillar and a partner in progress.

In a courtesy call on the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Okun Traditional Council chairman asserted that Governor Bello has also been remarkable and outstanding in the area of empowering youths, hence the call made on him for a new National assignment was in order.

The Royal Father applauded the SSA for his vibrant and calculative instinct to have chosen Agriculture as a first point of call which the youth would engage in to become self empowered

He prayed for the Governor’s appointee and appreciated his loyalty to the Governor while he further urged all Okun Youths to be good ambassadors of Gov. Yahaya Bello

The ALGON chairman, Honourable Taofiq Isah in his own welcome gesture commended the aide’s style of politics and asserting that he had started on a good note by recognizing the major Stakeholders.
