Hon Gentle greets Christians on Christmas

The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Youth Mobilisation for Lokoja /Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon Abdulrahman Idris Hussain popularly known as “Gentle” has congratulated Christians who are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ today.

He said Christmas is a period to show and share love and extend peace to all manner of people as demonstrated by Christ in his lifetime.

He said the world would be better if people imbibe attitudes that would ensure harmonious living, saying that wickedness had no place among people irrespective of their religion or tribe.

The SSA who used the opportunity to thank Governor Yahaya Bello, his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, the Chief of Staff, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku, the SSG, Dr Mrs Ayoade Folashade Arike and other members of the cabinet, wished them peaceful celebration.

He said those in the current government have given him the opportunity to serve and prove his mettle, stressing that the celebration is peaceful yet again because of the ingenious nature of the current administration in Kogi State.

He said celebration of birth of Christ was symbolic, because Jesus is part of those a true Muslim must believe in order to be called a complete believer without who such person’s claim to Islam was not complete.

While praying Almighty God to accept the prayers and beautiful wishes of the celebrants, he enjoined them to pray for peace in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

Hon Gentle said the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has created an enabling environment for peaceful and harmonious relationship among the citizens, and appealed to them to also pray for success of the Governor’s 2023 Presidential bid.
