Mallam Hamza names child with Gov Bello's CSO, Commissioners, others present »

An APC youth leader in Ward B of Lokoja Local Government Area, Mallam Hamza Yabagi has named his new born baby girl at an occasion that held on Monday in Lokoja.

The occasion was attended by the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Mallam Abdulmalik Suleiman; the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu; representatives of the Commissioner for Works and Housing, Hon Abubakar Ohere; the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Aliyu Idris and others.

The child’s name – Zainab, was pronounced by renowned Islamic Scholars in Kogi State, Khalifa Ibrahim Etsu Shuaibu and Khalifa Isah Arif Yabagi and other notable clerics.

In their supplications, the clerics pray Allah to grant the new born good health and sustainable growth to become useful citizen to both parents, the family and humanity in general.

They also pray for the child to be a source of blessing to all rather than a source of worry, and that Almighty God should also grant her necessary antibodies to be able fend off all childhood diseases that would bring stress to her parents.

Guests at the occasion also prayed for the good health of the child and prayed Allah to grant the wishes of the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in his presidential ambition.

They prayed for sustainable growth and development in the state under his leadership, noting that Kogi has witnessed development under him, which they hoped would be sustained.
