The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Women and Youth Mobilisation, Hon Abdulrahman Idris Hussein popularly known as Hon Gentle has congratulated the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the occasion of his one year in office for his second term.

The SSA stated this in an interview with our reporter in Lokoja on Wednesday.

Hon Gentle, who particularly praised the Governor for his sterling leadership qualities and dedication to taking the state beyond the current status said the nation needs someone like the Governor to move it forward.

According to the SSA, Kogi is lucky to have the type of Governor Bello at this time, given the manner he has been piloting the affairs of the state, noting that the state would witness better things in the next few years.

Hon Gentle, who called on the youth and women of the state to continue to rally behind policies and programmes of the current administration in the state, stressed his commitment to always mobilising them in support of the new direction agenda.

He thanked the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja and the Chief of Staff, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku and the people of the state for rallying behind the Governor for the overall progress and development of the state.
